Renshi Michael Pinelli
The Founder
Hello. My name is Renshi Michael Pinelli, and I am the owner, founder and chief instructor of East Coast Karate. We have locations in Seaford, NY on Merrick Road, and in Saint James, NY on Middle Country Road . We pride ourselves on teaching the highest quality martial arts, character development and moral integrity. We welcome children from the age of four, up to adults of any age. We do not tolerate nor welcome individuals with negative intentions. Our “ego-free” team atmosphere is contagious and one-of-a-kind – just ask any of our students or parents of the children who train with us.
At East Coast Karate, you will never feel intimidated or physically vulnerable.

My name is Sensei Gregg Stevenson, the owner and chief instructor of East Coast Karate in Saint James. At our studio all training programs are adapted to fit the students’ needs. Regardless of age or ability, anyone can learn from our practical, flexible approach to martial arts. More importantly, our programs help students learn discipline, patience and responsibility. Valuable characteristics that will that last a lifetime. The goal at East Coast Karate is to make sure every student gets the support and training they need to excel in martial arts and in life.
